I made this recipe with my 9 year old brother when we spontaneously decided to bake cookies together. They’re a combination of two of his favorite cookies- chocolate chip and peanut butter. We had fun making them and the whole family enjoyed eating them!
Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Beat butter and sugar until light.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter and beat until well combined.
- Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
- Add dry to wet and beat until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop cookies and place 2" apart on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 minutes, let cool on pan for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.
- Enjoy!
